More Information

Serenity House is a welcoming, supportive children’s residential care home, committed to providing a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where young people feel secure and valued. Our focus is on delivering personalised care that supports each young person’s individual needs and strengths.

Every young person at Serenity House has their own comfortable bedroom, which they are encouraged to personalise to reflect their identity and preferences. Positioned with easy access to local amenities and community opportunities, young people benefit from being part of an engaging and connected neighbourhood.

Education and Personal Development

At Serenity House, we understand that education plays a fundamental role in a young person’s development, self-esteem, and future opportunity. We fully support all aspects of a young person’s education, whether that includes:

  • Transportation to school or alternative provision
  • Structured homework support
  • Liaison with educational professionals to promote progress and stability

Our dedicated team works collaboratively with schools and education partners to ensure learning needs are met and aspirations are encouraged.

Therapeutically Informed Support

Serenity House operates with a therapeutically informed approach that places emotional wellbeing at its core. Our care team are trained in the PACE therapeutic parenting model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy), strengthening relationships and fostering trust, resilience, and positive behaviour.

To further support emotional development, each young person has access to 1:1 therapeutic sessions delivered by qualified practitioners, helping build coping skills, self-awareness, and confidence. For more information, please visit our Therapeutic Care page.
